This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Terribly important story (prepare to devour plump crumbs of exclusive information): Back when I made this account, I was informed that my IP was banned. Considering how I seldom visited DA up until that point, and possessed no other accounts, I came the conclusion that someone who shared my IP had invoked this discipline; a possibility the courtesy message on the confirmation page suggested. Mildly frustrated, I contacted several moderators to see what could be done about the issue. Their replies, though polite, effectively informed me that I was doomed to play the waiting game with no guarantees.
A significant amount of time passed, during which I may or may not have switched ISPs (who remembers such things, anyway?). One day I decided to register again with the same handle, only to find that it was already taken. For the hell of it I attempted to login with my original password. Lo and behold, it worked. Presumably my initial attempt to create this account was successful after all. It must have been active all those months without my knowledge. Celebration ensued (albeit modulated so as not to wake the neighbors. I'm that considerate), and at that point I went a bit +fav crazy, since by then I had favorite pieces by the bagload. If the upper echelon of DA artists are anything, it's inspiring.
My lack of a personal gallery I attribute to my abiding apathy (as I type, one scanner lies collecting dust on a high closet shelf, while the other is wasting away in a location I cleverly convinced myself to forget), in addition to a vacillating personal resolution to refrain from displaying my work online until my artistic skills have reached the level I've clearly defined in my mind. Until that time, it's practice, practice, practice--and perhaps some food and water every now and again.
In conclusion, you're perfectly welcome for the fav. Keep up the wonderful work.
lol, interesting... thanks for sharing! do keep up the practice, but please do consider sharing sooner than later... it can actually help your improvement.
